Where Monsters Dream collaborates with new artists throughout the year.
We are excited to share the work recently completed from a 2-month residency at Where Monsters Dream with the exhibit opening during the Forest Yokai Festival. Be sure to check out the amazing pieces in person which he created for the festival.
We also worked with local L.A. based Sound Production Company, Martial! Studios who created special audio to accompany one of Craig's sculptures.
CRAIG MUZIO ARTIST LA, CA
ART RESIDENCY: CRAIG MUZIO
Born in North Beach, San Francisco, Craig lived in New York in the 80’s through the early 90’s, where he was a graffiti music video artist. Now based in Los Angeles, he has worked over 25 years as an artist for the movie industry.
Muzio completed a 2-month artist residency at Where Monsters Dream with an unveiling his work at the Forest Yokai Festival, hosted by Where Monsters Dream on Nov. 8 + 9th, 2025.
The sculptures created especially for the festival are currently on exhibit with Limited-edition Artist Series T-shirts and memorabilia available by Purchase on Demand.

Previous Collaborations at Where Monsters Dream:
Ito and Muzio have previously collaborated on a limited-edition signature clothing pieces that incorporated paintings from Muzio's gallery exhibit "Outside Cultures" held at Where Monsters Dream.
